A 12-minute BBC film on adoption looks at three families who have adopted what is sadly termed as ‘harder to place’ children. This means that these children often wait a long time for adoption, in some cases over 18 months and includes children over 4 years, brothers and sisters, ethnic minority children, or children who have additional needs. Grab a cuppa and have a listen to real families sharing their experience of adoption – they are truly inspirational.
