Welcome to Caritas Care Fostering Services – Fostering Lancashire.

Hello, it’s nice to see you and welcome to Caritas Care’s fostering service.

At Caritas Care, we know that foster carers come from all walks of life, each bringing their unique story and background. There is no ideal age, ethnicity, or relationship status for a foster carer. What truly matters is the shared desire to make a positive difference in the lives of children who need a caring home.

Foster carers play a crucial role in providing stability and support for children who cannot live with their birth families. The need for dedicated foster carers is greater than ever across Lancashire and the North West. Most children in need of foster care are of school age and come from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique circumstances. These can include illness, family breakdown, or concerns about their safety and well-being.

We want to hear from you!

Whether you provide care for a short time, throughout a significant part of their childhood, or even permanently, Caritas Care is committed to offering you all the support and guidance you need to succeed. Your dedication can make a lasting impact on the lives of children in need.

We are especially eager to hear from potential foster carers in the following areas: Preston, Blackpool, Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington, Warrington, Salford and Wigan

This list is not exhaustive; we also welcome enquiries from other areas in the Lancashire region and beyond.
