Michelle and John adopted their two little boys a couple of years ago. They were close in age- 3 and 4 when they came home. The boys were close in many ways but did struggle to compete with each other as they both needed a lot of time and attention. They were (and are!) lively boys who needed lots of outdoor activity and both struggled to concentrate on tasks at times. Michelle and John were delighted with the progress the boys made over time and felt that by the time the adoption order was granted they felt very safe and settled. It was important for the boys to have individual time and attention so Michelle and John made sure they factored this into their daily routine.
